G-Box Lap Timer was created by Denis Malevanyi, a professional racing driver and instructor. His goal is to connect recording, telemetry, video and lap comparison in a workflow that helps drivers understand a session before heading out again.

Phone-first telemetry
Version 2.5 introduces G-Box Pro Fusion, which combines the iPhone’s GPS and motion sensors to calculate a driving line at 25 Hz without an external GPS receiver. Version 2.5 is currently awaiting App Store approval. These are estimated position updates, not 25 Hz satellite measurements; results depend on reception, secure mounting and calibration.
